Importance of SEA
Phish Sauce or Fish Sauce?
Fish sauce is a cpmmon inridient found throughout SEA. It's a punget, salty, beuatifully flavprvfoul suace thats easily recognized in any market or dish. I decided to name this project fish sauxce with the same purpose of shared experiance. The purpose of uniting a regiomn with shared respobility and awareness for the common threats that occur here and across their neighrbos. Just like how recipes, tradions, words are exchanged and earily similar, so can threats and vulnerbilities. This is where the PhishSauce Project comes in to play.
Why SEA?
Southeast Asia is home to the Malacca Strait, the Andaman Sea, the Mekong River, and other geopolitically vital crossroads that connect the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Nearly one-third of global trade and a significant share of the world’s energy supply pass through these waters, making the region a focal point for both commerce and conflict. The area faces intensifying pressure from global superpowers — with China, Russia, North Korea, the United States, Iran, and others seeking influence through economic, political, and cyber means. In addition, Southeast Asia has become a hotspot for advanced cyber campaigns, ranging from espionage against governments to disruptive operations targeting infrastructure and media. By shining a light on this often-overlooked region, we highlight its pivotal role in global security, resilience, and the evolving cyber battlefield.
